I hear about people all the time talk about forcing congos. Even here on these boards. Not sure what to believe...I even have a few that I forced to congo that dont have this problem. I honestly think it was because of the positioning of the locks I wanted to congo and recovering from serious damage from using Baking Soda.

I'd leave it alone, in the past I've wrapped dreads to try and get them to congo and the sectioning has been uncomfortable resulting in pulling on my scalp quite painfully. I've had dreads naturally congo and it's been a lot more comfortable than anything that's been forced together.
