Tribe With Sculpted Hair

A while ago I saw a documatary traveling. I remember seeing a tribe that had unusually sculpted hair. I was looking for pictures but was unsucessful. I was wondering if anyone had seen this tribe and do they know if it is a variation of dreadlock rope theme (so to speak)

i think ive seen some tribal people that put sum sort of clay in their hair and it strongly resembles dreadlocks....dunoooo hahahhah

i knew a woman who made a career out of clay sculpting hairwas pretty cool
