bleaching and dying my dreads

hey everyone, I'm new on the site and Idon'tknow how many times this question has been asked so forgive me if its become a bore.

my dreads just turned 4 years old and are about 34cm long. lately I've beencontemplating dying them red or maroon, my hairdresser says that if I want the colour to show, I would have to first have to bleach my black hair. shedoesn'tseem too impressed with my wanting to do this.

I have thick dreads andI'm very worried that my hair might fall off from thedamage done by the bleach. Can I please get some advice... thanks

it is risky it can be done but there is a chance it could go wrong

many get away with it and are fine..some dont

is the color more important then the dreads or are the dreadsmore important then the color

what ammpunt of risk would be worthwhile

u can do it and theres a dyed dreadhead group with tips and tricxks but bleaching can do alot of harm
