A difference in appearance

I had my dreads backcombed in and im just wondering if the new growth will look different from the backcombed dreads. I have verrry curly mixed race hair and im a little worried that they will be naturally curly dreads, which i wouldnt mind, but with like 6 inches of backcombed dread at the tip. Ive never seen curly dreads before but my roots are locking up a little differently then the body.

they will dread the same backcombing isnt dreading the tips will dread the roots will dread they will look basicly the same

only if u crochet do they look diferent the woven vs dreaded look

The backcombed hair will loosen up and then dread up on it's own (if you let it/don't re-backcomb!) and over time it will all look uniform.

Thanks SE, i didnt crotchet at all so it'll be fine. And I havent done any maintenece besides seperating and washing since then. Ive had them for 5 months on Saturday
