hi! so i have about 6 dreads right now and i am planning on dreading my entire head soon. my current dreads where made using the twist and rip method and they are doing very well. my only concern about dreading the rest of my head is that if for some reason i eventually want to or have to comb them out, the damage that may have been caused will have ruined my hair. my hair is fairly thick so i am hoping that it may be in fairly good condition afterwards but i would love some advice. Thanks, i look forward to being part of the dreadhead community!

as long as u dont crochet the damage will be minimal the most damage actualy coming from combing them out but if u are gentle and go slow it wont be too bad at all

but u will never want to comb em out

Welcome! Good luck with the TnR. That's how I did mine 17 days ago and I have thick hair too. Enjoy!!!
