Weird Roots?

So basically my roots bend at weird angles and some are flat with the hair spread so thin i can see light through it

Thanks, sorry if it seemed like a stupid question. I've always wondered though, how does new growth lock up? I'm not worried that mine won't or anything, just curious how it does.

well my theory is

the hair commin from scalps straightish from dread chaotic so they cause unevensess in lengths that cause looping and knotting
