Will my dreads come out to be thick using this method?

How thick do you want them to be? Normally the size of the parts will determine the size of the loc but that is not always the case.Your hair texture and density will play a role in size.Lastly, if you intend to semi-freeform, what maintenance will you be doing? Are you going to twist because that will thin up your locs more.

Well Idk if you've taken a look at my pics but do they seem really thin for starters? but anyways the sections for these roots are around half a inch if not more.
