If you want to start them off with some method why not back come with a steal tooth comb? Croquet hooks slow progress way down from my experience. I'll show you---the first picture is of a good friend of mine the dark haired girl on the far left, she first wrapped her hair then croqueted it when she lived with another friend that croquets his hair. The second photo is a once friend of mine his dreads were started naturally, he also palm rolled. Here's the crazy thing BOTH of these friends started their locks in 2008. As you can see, his locks are much longer and more mature than hers are at this point. In my experience the more you do to lock up your hair, the longer it takes to lock up and the more it loosens and breaks. ~Much love

Just so we're clear I think my sister and her locks are b-e-a-utiful! but why slow your progress when you've only just begun? :o)
