When dread trees fall

So do any of ya'll with or without african hair have any idea how long it could take that type of hair to "drop" and start hanging? Reason i ask is cause hatsdonfitt on youtubewas at over a year and they hadn't even considered dropping. Perhaps the "thickness" of the dreads determine that? Then again,the thicker the dread, the sooner it would want to drop one would think.

Does that make sense? =)

his are really thick i think right and not too long? i remember the dude from steel pulse? his huge 1 stood straight up a foor or more b4 it "dropped" its a matter of length and thickness both

Yea hatsdontfitt his are quite thick, i think he might have less then 10 sections to be honest could be wrong. That is interesting though and something to consider since i am going for thicker locks, or at least what my hair seems to want to do. 75% of the locks i have formed currently are thick, even when i seperate the sections neater. Guess it does what it wants.
