Hi everyone, today I have decided to dread, not really sure what method I'm using. I'm kinda twisting small sections for thinner dreads but I am not pulling hard at al just kinda grouping, how often do I was my hair? And is this a good way to start my dreads?

That can cause loss of hair. I'd just go natural and let them dread on their own. Wash your hair 2-3 times a week, the water creates knots. Welcome!!

not sure how on mobile since i dont havde moble phone at all

its easy on a pc tho

but back to hair

do u have african hair?

going natural is the best way no matter what

but african hair can be twisted into sections then left to dread

what u want to avoid tho isretwisting aver and over thats wbat causes u to go bald

so if u twist ..twist once then let them loosen and dxread

well theres 4 basic hair types

african hair can be the real kinky type that reaponds to twu=ists or the straighter type that responds to coils

mixed u ciuld have more of the caucasian domance so tnr or backcomb (tnr is better)

ofcoursse natural s best regardless of hair type

twisting only really works in the kinkier type
