Tip for dreads and towels. To avoid unsightly fluffs of towel that are sometimes left in the dreads, use one the same colour (Canadian spelling) as your hair. This way when they are left behind, they will not be noticed.
I leave a towel on my back for 1/2 an hour to absorb the water dripping off the bottoms.
