Question about roots...

So I just started my dreads about a month and a half ago. My husband tnr just a bit and then I have left them. We tried not to do even sections. I have noticed that the back of my head some of the sectioned have split at the root. Question is should I just leave it and let them just do there thing? There is a knot beyond the "split" area so I don't want to take it apart.... Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

happens alot with forced sectioning it probly can happen with natural sections too but i see it very commonly when u decide where sections should be and the hair decides it wanted to section diferently

it should self orrect or u can bead or wrap the split area to force it back together

if its real thick u might want to start it over letting it section itself

but only if itsreal thick
