my parents never really said i could have dreads but i kinda did it anyway...been talking bout it for 3 years lol. but anyway i just have a lot of loops near my roots and i would like to make them look a bit neater for my parents...could i use beads or something? advice would be greatly appreciated

loops are them drezding if u pur=t a bead that close to the roots they will have trouble dreadijng
explain to your parents that loops are part of the proces that are beautiful and nesacary and they go away towards maturity (mostly)
Eagle said exactly what I was going to say. You don't want beads near your roots. Check out my latest vid and you'll see my bald spot growing where I had beads too close. Some of the baldness is genetic, but some is due to the beads pulling too tightly on the root hairs.
Loops are a good thing. if you try to control them, you will be hindering the process
