wrapping. too soon?

My dreads are just babies. I was wondering if it is too soon to incorperate any thread around them or anything. or should i wait for them to lock up?

i started mine with a few beadsand wraps in undresded hair

its not too soon however it can cause some things that u may not want

like

the wrapped opart permenantly being much much thuinner then the new growth at the rootsso your mature dreadsmay have skinny "tails" off theends

hmm maybe i will wait a while until they mature a little more. I want them to be nice and beautiful and healthy
