dread journey, details washing baby dreads, baking soda, dread soaps

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.....I have so much to be thankful for! I am looking for detailed advice on washing new baby dreads. I have reviewed recommendations on this site.....but still kinda confused about what to do for baby dreads. I have caucasian hair. I understand the baking soda wash, which was described very well, THANKS! What about the back country soaps? Could I put some in with H2O and soak that way? Thanks in advance for your advice.

what is back country soaps?

u mean those dry shampoos for camping?

wouldnt bother use the bs acv or use a dread soap if u use a dread soap scrub just the scalp then rinse thru the hair

I was mentioning the soaps you had tried and commented on. Maybe I got it wrong, it was the ones from www.dreadlockshampoo.com , I think they were made by back country soaps or something. I already have problems with a dry scalp, that is what I am worried about even more with having dreads. What would you recommend would be best to try first?

they are amazing but will soften baby dreads alot so theres a new liqquid version for baby dreads coming out i hope on moinday

I have been preparing my scalp by not washing as much and no conditioner for hair. Was going to use back combing and crochet. But have decided not to do the crochet due to advice on here, and then just let them go......
