i didnt use a non residue shampoo b4 back combing

i washed with baking soda because i read on a website that it takes residue out of hair but im not sure? is it bad that i didnt use non residue shampoo???

nah its fine u may have a lil residue but not the buildup u can get inside dreads someday u can do a anti residue clarifying shampoo if yoir worried but it but the bs/acv might have removed it good enough anyway

ok good i just dont wanna buy a whole bottle for just one use!!! and does bs take out residue? some lady on this one site said she uses it every once in a while to take out residue in her hair but idk if thats true

well bs takes out dirt real well and maybe siome types of residue acv takes out oily residues real well between the 2 they do fairly well
