I like wearing beanies and bandanas

Can you wear hats or bandanas if you plan on doing the natural method for dreadlocks
sure..sometimes but wouldnt often and looser ones are better then tight
a tams a better idea

i wear bandanas and haven't had any problems with it. i'm not really a hat wearer but when i wore a tam in the beginning it didn't hinder progress but i don't really think it helped either.
I have to wear a hate for work 5 or six days a week and im not doing to bad im three months in natural and my whole head is pretty much sectioned and knotting. It might slow me down a bit but not to bad.
