Only 4 day ago, I posted about not having many knots formed yet. The only thing I hadn't tried yet that was suggested to me was sleeping on wool at night. I started on Monday, it's now Friday, and what a crazy difference its made! I've got all kinds of knots forming on the back and sides now, and I'm so excited to see their progress in the next weeks and months. My question is regarding the sudden clump of knotted hair on the back of my head: I had it sectioned with beads, but they've popped out and the hair is in a massive mass. I'm excited to see some knotting happening, but I don't really want it to just be a big ass clump back there forever (it's about 4 inches across of solid knots). Do I separate it out now? Let it knot more first? I don't want to undo any progress, but I don't want to make it harder on myself when I try to pick it apart later either.Thank you!
