Dreads in the pool?

going to florida for 2 weeks to visit a friend... we will definitely be hitting the beach up a lot which i know is supposed to be good for your dreads

but we may go in the pool sometimes too... what should i do about that? does chlorine have a bad effect?

my hair isn't even really dreads yet, i've just been doing the neglect thing for about a year now

no but wet the hair 1st thouroughly so it wont absorb so much then wash after but NOT WITH BAKING SODA UNLESS U DO ACV 1ST clorines alkaline so is bs so the 2 will really throw the ph off bad doing acv 1st sets it back 1st
