I want to start dreads but I don't know which method to go with for my hair type. Also is my hair long enough yet or should I wait until its longer before I start?

Starting Dreads
Depending on how long you would like them, but my hair was a little past my shoulders before I started and now it's a few itches above my shoulders and they're still shrinking. I'm at 5 months by the way. But I think a lot of guys do them when their hair is short and it turns out really good! Also I started mine with backcombing and now I'm just letting them do their own thing and mine are looking pretty good. No wax though, that stuff is bad bad bad.
Hey Mike just start washin it with Baking Soda now and do nothing else. My hair hair was shorter than yrs when I started. Its slow when short but you'll have 100% real dreads in time. There are a few methods out there with their own pro's and con's. Do abit of research and DON'T use WAX.
