On the 12 Jan I let my hair dread naturally with a little T&R. Because it is so thick and curly it dreaded very quickly.
I have been washing my hair twice a week with BS anf then using ACV afterwards to try to condition it. I was doing a sea salt spray from time to time.
The last few days my hair has been so dry and straw like it feels horrible.
After lots of research I brought Rosemary, Fennel, Aloe, Peppermint, Lavender and basil oil. I have just mixed this with a little olive oil (not the basil) and water and sprayed it onto my hair and put on a not so attractive shower cap.
I'm intending to leave it on tonight to try and help my hair. Has anyone done anything similar with good results. It is just my hair that seems to be dry but my scalp is normal with no dandruff.
The next part of my question is I brought shampoo before I let my hair go and it's the brand Yes To... (tomatoes) the ingredients are:

Would I be OK using this it's a great shampoo made by a not for profit here in San Francisco?
I have tried to do lots of research on how to keep hair conditioned but not to un-tangle and there are very few recipes for Caucasian hair and so many people saying never use oils but when my hair is so dry it is breaking I think something needs to be done.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
