Hi thereI googled make your own dread wraps & saw this site so I joined. Always nice to see the diversity of different styles, legnths and widths of dreads. When I started, I stopped combing/brushing my hair after washing with residue removing shampoo. Then I back combed a couple times & that's what I ended up with... I can't tell you how much I enjoy love my dreads. I'm happy I did them without the wax & spray stuff. I'm frugal and I'm in no hurry. Anyhoo I look forward to checking out more forums about wraps, wear, beads etc.Shine on!Potato
