flat dreads?

the dreads on the back of my head are flat is this normal? what can i do to get them round i dont really want flat ones especially since i seen some off google and they looked very bad just gross to me but please help me out i know i could palm roll but ive also heard you dont have to do that any answers would help thank you

you can try some hemp wraps or some beads to help round them if you don't wanna wait on time!

I'm five months in and I have some flat dreads in that back as well. I understand you may not like them now, but more often than not they do round out; though you should probably just get used to them being there for a while.
