anyone got suggestions on who can help me start my crochet dreads? here in jax fl or am i not realizing my own power of my own hands?, but yea as to intro myself, i hav been desiring locs since i started my ex's. a true jamaican, his caught on fast, but me having the best of two worlds inherited a softer texture hair, I began awhile back but was not ready at the time and took em out, now i am for sure. i feel it best that i use crochet to start just because my hair is so long...any help advice comments out there for me?

crochet isnt a method we recommend here, its fairly damaging. Saying your mixed, twists might not work good either, go natural, twist n rip or backcomb lightly

croche4t would be a very very bad mistake long hair dreads amazingly by neglect natural is the way to go but u can try twist and rip if u wabt to
ppl come herre to recover from crochet which takes a good 6 months or longer before they even begin to dre4ad properly affter crochet
we would never recomend such a destructive method
keep it natural as can be
