Inquiring about Aloe Vera...

Hey guys!

So it's been about a month since I've backcombed my dreads (no product used) and they're coming along great! I do have a lot of loose hairs and bumps, but they don't bother me at all since I know that's how they're supposed to be at only a month! So, I don't really care to use aloe for taming frizz and loose hairs, but does using aloe help baby dreads lock up faster? Has anybody had any experience of using aloe and finding their hair to be more dready afterwards?

aloe is a moisturizer. It does nothing to lock hair. It can actually un knot what you already have. If your hair is supper dry or brittle, aloe is a good conditioner. But really other than that, the only reason to use aloe would be to neaten it for job interviews or something. Even then it should be used sparingly.
