Need a little more info...how do you want to start your dreads?Even though this site frowns upon this, you can use a starter method like twists, braids, comb coils, etc. then you can either let them be from there or maintain by twisting.Or you could freeform from the start and just separate your roots so you will get the size dreads you want.It's entirely up to you...

we,ll i would not maintain with twisting or u can lose a dreadonce4 theyre started just seperate and leave em alonebutu can just let them dread naturalyu cant screw that up ..jjst wait and it haoppensor u can rtwist sections then let em dreadits real easy
