Ok, so I've been looking around and I can't find any information on why iodized table salt is bad. It's not natural seems to be the only reason people are saying but no one is saying what it actually does. Is it harsher? Does anyone know?

Thanks SE...Love ya'! Let me check alittle...but, off the top of my head...I would say as I did in another thread that salt is not necessarily bad in of itself, but people tend to make a salt solution with table salt much too strong. In looking at the labels of iodized salt and coarse kosher salt the iodized salt lists its sodium content as 590 mg, whereas, kosher salt (which is used to marinate/tenderize meat) lists its sodium content at 480 mg. I would suspect, that sea salt has an even lower reading. I find that in using table salt to make a spray that it was drying and irritating to my scalp and hair, but an ocean spray is not. I also would assume that ocean water contains minerals that may be healthy. I do know that many people find hot springs and mineral baths to be beneficial. soaringeagle said:
