A little advice needed

Hello everyone!

My name is Madison :) I'm totally new to the site and I have a few questions that I was hoping you guys could help me with. First of all, I'll give you a little history of my dreads :) I started them 4.5 years ago when I was just a teenager with literally no idea what i was doing. I backcombed them and waxed them for the first 3 months or so. I bleached them myself, unknowingly doing a ton of damage. I stopped bleaching them and let them grow out with their natural color, but i eventually lost about half of my length when the bleached parts became brittle and fell off. Now they are totally mature and back to their natural color, but i have A LOT of loose hair and loops and bumps and things. I'm not really as concerned with the loops and loose hair as i am with the terrible placement though because i know the loose hair will form new dreads and the loops can be fixed. As for the sectioning, there is one dread in particular, right in the front of my head that is HUGE, really really tight, and totally flat! I've considered splitting into two or three dreads but i'm hesitant because i've done it before and ended up with a lot of loose hair. Would it be a terrible idea to comb it out, re section it and start a few new dreads? Does anyone have experience combing out 4.5 or 5 year old dreads? if so would you recommend it?

ok going to give multiple recommendations 1 go to www.dreadlockshampoo.com and get wax b gone i know u stopped using it 4 years ago but it never washes out wax b gone will get it out though

then yes comb it out use loads of conditioners and gently slowly comb it from the tip up

also loops do not need to be fixed they fix themselves and are essential to dreading it your that loopy at 4 years that only proves how drasticly the wax delayed proper dreading
