Hello everyone! I have been wanting to get dreads for a long time now however... my summer job is life guarding at a beach, the job requires us all to do at least 10-15 minutes of swimming every day sometimes we have to go twice a day. Plus I go surfing every now and then. Would I still be able to get natural dreads if I just dried my hair after? It dries extremely fast in the sun but it still doesn't change the fact that my hair is getting washed 5 days a week. I really don't want to find a different job because that job is the best job EVER but at the same time I really want dreads. What do you guys think?

Thanks!

My dreads dry slooooowwwwwww. But of course its 10 and there is snow everywhere. Maybe you could wash less and swim with a cap on?
