How often should I wash my hair?

I usually can't stand more than 3 days before I get itchy and positively need the maintenance. I thoroughly enjoy washing my dreads now.
haha yea 3 after 3 days im diggin at my scalp cuz it itches so bad 
i hate washing my hair but i do it anyways haha
