whether to start over or continue on is up to you, they will be damaged, as in broken peices will be lost in the comb out process, and yiu may have slightly thinnerhair, but if the crochgets very tight they will dread much faster.

yes get rid of the extensions regardless

and finally, if you startr over consider dreading naturally instead of tnr

yes they should be washed at a minimim  of weekly

2-3 times  a weeks better the moree they are  washed the faster they dread
