Welcome!!Unless you want your dreadie babies to be super high maintenance the I say get rid of the hook...when "fixing" hairs you break more and then those frizz out and you have to "fix" more and you break more...never ending cycle...eventually there will be so many broken hairs that your babies will be super weak and there's a chance they could break!If you decide to stop they can recover .. best of luck!!
