Just don't condition or brush- simple. Also won't have to worry about your hairs length, just let it be

why tnr or wool rub its trying to dread even while conditioning, so stop combing stop conditioning and let it dread. also if you do tnr, the looser ones will dread much faster then the ones you get extra tight.  once dreaded they can be damp 12 hours later, so its best to wash early
