Pretty stoked to put up some pictures. I'm super bummed my parents are not accepting of this choice. My dreads are lookin super fresh, but also very tangled and knotty (they're dreads, duh mom!!).
Anyway, my mom is CRYING and saying she doesn't want to be seen with me and she wants me to go to a salon and get them done professionally (yeah...right!).
I didn't section my hair when I dreaded, I just grabbed some strands twisted and ripped. I think my head looks AWESOME. Me mum thinks it looks like straight up shit. Somebody needs to help her out. She thinks they smell (they don't, I've asked several friends, I'm in the clear) and my hair does look oily, but hey, it's in the process of transitioning to less washing. Man, she just doesn't understand that this is going to take TIME and it may not look great every day until they become mature. She needs to chill.
I'm moving to Colorado soon and just don't have the energy, nor do I care enough to exert any, into trying to get her to accept this choice. Just worried she may chop my hair off at night because, well, she's turnin pyscho haha.
My dad is more accepting, but mum rules all so he sides with her.
My brother hates me for this.
My mum is annoying and won't listen to me explain about dreads.
I want them because of the lifestyle and I think it's a very spiritual and fashionable thing, it fits me and feels right man, would be so nice if my mom would just let this go.
u have freaky cool eyes!
since yoir so all natural etc you will love the dreadlockshampoo.com soaps
tip 1 part baking soda 10 paarts water s9oak 10 min then rinse wash every 3 days then 4
if u must use hot water use cooler as u can but fuinnish with the coldest rinse you can stand that will slow oil production
