Welcome. Who wants to change you? Or, I should say, we'd never try to change you. This community may seem like it's all leftists hippie, commies. But we aren't. There are plenty of devout christians, right wingers, metal heads. Anything you can think of. And we all get into arguements about something sometime. But at the end of the day, we shake hands, say good night, and wish each other luck. Then the next day we get right back into the swing of things. No hard feelings are kept
Hi Philly, I notice you in the chat room about getting dreads. Dreads are free, they can be grown all on your own, this way they will last you a lifetime if you so choose. Just stop brushing, keep them clean and separate any forming sections that are trying to join together. That is all you need to do to grow your own. For some people it takes a year and for others a little longer, up to two years, but they are strong, healthy and clean that way. Crochet hooks will break each dread into hundreds of pieces, they have no strength and WILL eventually break off. You don't want that to happen do you? For free form dreads, as they mature, loose hairs will get sucked into the dreads all on their own. For Free!! Do your hair & dreads a favour and never ever put a hook through them....Peace
