wax vs. no wax

I was raised by wolves...
okay I wasn't, but I grew up having no electricity and no running water. what a life it was, and I wouldn't change it for anything.
This meant that we had to collect all our water from the spring or creek, sometimes walking with a wheelbarrow. Wood stove for cooking and for heat. In the winter we would melt snow for showering and dish doing purposes. lots of splitting of wood, kerosene lanterns and fun. I can't thank my parents enough.
- How long have you been dreading?
- Had dreads for almost three years, then cut them off. :( this is my second go. less than a week in.
- Dreading methods, maintenance, and products used (if you currently have dreads)
- good ol' backcomb and tnr. some sea salt here and there. peppermint, tea tree and lavender oils.
