- The Name Is Sendo, a 24 yr old straight out of Arizona. I believe in the peace wave, and will love to see world peace one day. I'm your laid back, chill guy, who likes to kick it. My goals in life is to finish school, and become a Web Designer. Move out of Arizona one day to San Diego or Boston. I'm trying to learn how to improve my singing, I would like to join a Reggae/Alternative band one day just for hobbies. So I can express myself. I love to snowboard, longboard.
- How long have you been dreading?

- Dreading methods, maintenance, and products used (if you currently have dreads)
- I first started doing natural, i hear it's the best way, i like the method but it was a mess, it was hard for me to keep all of my hair separated perfectly, it was just one big tangled so i decided to backcomb, i felt that backcombing was not painful at all, i guess it depends on the person, but i'm glad i chose to backcomb since it's much easier to keep separated, and i just leave it alone like it's natural still, and let it do it's thing, I use Maylee's Garden Dread Soap, the soap is absolutely amazing!!! and i also use the baking soda method, i find both to be absolute great for my hair, and i'm excited about just letting my hair just grow and do it's thing
1 yr update, I backcombed when I first started and since then I have allowed it to naturally do it's thing, I wash with Dr. Bonners Magic Soap and Maylee's Garden and Baking Soda, I mix it up every 3 days. They are coming out pretty solid. I don't mess with any products, I don't do any maintenance beside pulling some of the bigger dreads apart. I just let them be, it takes time for them to grow, you gotta be patient is what I learned, I'm in no hurry!!!

i have a question? why do you sea salt your hair for dreads, i have a sea salt spray, but was wondering what the purpose is to sea salt your dreads? explain to me!

I'm thinking a nice small 'lady-like' 000 but I'll see how I go once I get there I might want to go up to 3/4 myself. You should upload some close ups of your madagascar sleeve, I have a nice japanese water garden design sketched up that I would love on my back, all I have so far is a big lotus flower and lily pad at the bottom but its a start :)
