- About Me
- I started my dreads in June, June 20th to be exact! I was inspired by my husband, he's had his for going on 12 years. We have a 2 year old son, he's getting new baby locks every day!!- Update.....My dread jurney has ended. I came to a point within myself where I realized that this journey was not my own. I started it for the wrong reasons and in the wrong way. I know that when the time is right, the wime will be right, and I will know. The time is not right for me now. I was not feeling right about/with myself and after 2 days of ripping at my head, I felt better, and I feel as though I am back on track. I hope that I still have friends and family here. I met alot of wonderful people and don't want to lose anybody because I lost my lovely dreads. I Love, Love, Love you all and hope you understand, and of course will always have a place in my heart for dreads, I live with them every day with my husband and son, and will again with my own I'm sure, just not yet...... I'm getting ready to cut off about 12 inches of hair to donate to Locks of Love, and I will post before and ater pics. Maybe this will help out some of you with back combed dreads. My next dreads, lifelong I'm sure, will be all natural!!!! All in due time my family, all in due time!!!
