I pour this over my already wet head. I rub my scalp. Let it sit on my head about 5 minutes, then rinse it off with warm water.  I rinse out my milk jug then add about 1/4 (or less)  cup of acv , and about 10 drops of tea tree oil. I fill up the jug with warm tap water, put on the lid and shake it up really well. I pour this mixture over my head then  rinse it immediately. It is good to rinse the ACV out with cold water...but I only rinse with cold water in the summer :)

You want to use a residue free shampoo. you live in Bulgaria so I am not really sure what is available to you there. You can also use the BS/ ACV.  BS is baking soda. It may be called Bicarbonate of soda there. The acv is apple cider vinegar. not sure if it is called the same there. It is the brownish vinegar. Both items can be purchased at a grocery store. If you are interested in the BS/ACV I can explain the how to more thoroughly.

The main advice I have to give is to keep you hands away from your hair. Don't play with it.

Wash your hair at least once a week. When you wash it, concentrate on washing the scalp, let the cleanser run through the length of your hair. Then rinse it. Do not run your fingers through your hair. Your fingers will actually "comb" out baby knots that are trying to form.

Put a spoonful of sea salt in a squirt bottle, fill it with water. Spray this on your hair once or twice a week.

Sleep on a wool pillow, or wear a wool tam for a couple hours a day.

When knots are really starting to form. Separate the sections so that you will have individual dreads instead of one big giant dread.

That is about it! Good luck on your dread journey. and take pictures along the way! We love pictures!
