Article Critique: "White People and Dreadlocks: A Problematic Union"

History and Religious Significance

thats a one sided view and interpretation of life itself. ignorance is written all over it, people with dreads dont have to be rasta..i grew my dreadlocks because its a natural extension of my head. Hair locks no matter what color or culture or religion you belong to...we're all from the same place.

General Talk

What are these gatherings you so often mention? I love seeing masses of people and having insightful intellectual conversations and sharing of life...however don't like to do so at raves or in that environment anymore.. Just would be cool to go somewhere and listen to good music or share hemp creations or words or anything haha.. Any cool suggestions are appreciated I just want to check out and learn some new stuff! Oh and the dread beads are lovely sorry to go off on that tangent hahaha

New Here :D

Introduce Yourself

Eventually your are going to have to break out of that shell. Dreads can be seen and interpretted possibly by your father as something counter to his belief yet it is a direct representation of yourself inside. Keep in mind you'll soon be 18 and forced with your own decisions anyways. Maybe educate him more on them and talk more about the subject.
