Can someone help me with this nagging problem?
General Questions
Okay thanks.
Thanks this set is only a couple weeks old so I guess that makes sense lol. so should i stop twisting them back into shape after they unravel even if i'm just loosely twisting them I don't want to twist my hair out. lol....but seriously i don't.
I recently started my dreads again after having to cut them when i was supposed to go to the military. I'm not using wax this time because i know it's better for my dreads if i don't and who doesn't want that, right? The only problem is that this time all of them are coming apart whenever I shower or I do strenuous activity that causes me to sweat. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Thanks in advance for the help.
Thanks for making this discussion otherwise i would have never told my story and your dreads are awesome by the way.
I decided to dread because i had always been forced to cut my hair growing up even though i absolutely hated doing so. I also think of myself as a rebel and someone with different ideals than others so i started dreads because i wanted them to symbolize my freedom of thought and the fact that i don't care about what society thinks is presentable. Then over the month and a half that i have had them they have become spiritual causing me to love nature and all things natural and pure.
its only the ignorant black take it from i'm black and i love the way dreads look on other races.
