dreads getting tangled at the root!
Dreads Hair and Scalp Health
Do it when they are wet!!!!! :D
With mine I just kinda grabbed hair where it felt right and just went for it, since my hair wouldn't just dread on its own. So what ever feels most natural and right to you, just make sure you have a mirror to check them in so you don't get any bald spots. I had an issue with that a bit in the back, but it corrected itself thankfully!
I would love!! <3 <3 <3
Beautiful response!! Im sure we all get grief from people. But thats part of the journey! Letting go! Good luck with your dready poos!! The journey is well worth it@!!!!
Each persons dreads are different if thats the way they want to develop, thats the way they will!! Im sure they are glorious! and The first 6 months are the worst, patience and they will turn into what you want them to!
Is it normal to have just really odd flat, kinda nasty nest looking roots? like if I pull up my dreads Ill have random bald spots and stuff.. its pretty gnarly looking. My dreads are 2 months old and I keep debating brushing them out and starting over again just to get them a little more organized. But at the same time I really want to stick with it and kinda see what happens. I like chaos but its hard to get use to having total chaos ALL the time. Advice? Encouragement? Anything helpful?
I work for an AWESOME animal shelter full time and I love it. They don't like my dreads tho, its a pain to deal with them... because my dreads are not going anywhere. I don't care HOW small of a town I live in or what the people think I AM NOT what they think I am
That is some SERIOUS patience!! I could not have done that, you go girl! They look amazing! Slow but steady wins the race right? :D
