salt is corrosive so you really don't want to leave it in your hair for long periods of time. most beaches have outdoor showers for people to rinse off so i would suggest rinsing your hair at days end. no need to shampoo it. a water rinse should be fine.

also the ocean is a toxic waste dump.. annd a sewer not only do we humans dump our garbage and our toilets into it billions of fishes shit in it every day as well as die and rot there

its really not as clean as u think and u really want to wash all that nastiness out of your haoir
