So I met a guy with the most beautiful 10 year old dreads and he washes with whatever is cheapest. His dreads were super long and healthy and he has never used wax. I think the key is to make sure your hair is rinsed thoroughly and you can use any shampoo. Just a thought : )

u can yeas but u do get buildup and buildup can lead to mold in some cases
