johnny clean founder of dreadheadhq promotes some of the worst methods and products around.promoting instant dreadlocks he promises dread maturity quickly, if you simply follow a complicated regiment which consists of a dozen different techniques and 1/2 dozen tools and even more products.
dread kits include dread wax which is the main reason jonny clean style dreads never last long. but he also promotes such things as felting dreadlocks using the dread docta , a felting needle which tears dreads to shreds. the complicated regimen of root rubbing tip rubbing palm rolling waxing crocheting felting spraying with products after products results in very fake looking dreads that are weak stink from built up wax and trapped dirt.
its amazing that dreadheaghq claims to be the clean and tidy way to dread when the reality is the waxy dreads become the grossest.

I guess I can understand why most dread heads dont, and wont use products. But honestly, Ive never had a problem with using wax.. Less is more and as soon as you wash, its mostly gone anyways. Wax removal is tedious, but possible with a hair dryer and some paper towels. (I know this from my first experience.) Being white and having straight to wavy, medium fine hair, its hard to keep my knots together at the ends. So using these products has REALLY helped me advance.

no but i first heard bit palm rolling and wax about 10 years ago around when those sites launchedive heard backcombing was used in england before thatlong ago i heard of toothpaste so maybe someone who thought toothpaste worked thought wax would work better?
I wonder who actually came up with palm rolling, root rubbing, tip rubbing and the wax idea in the 1st place any ideas s.e????
