This is the progress of 1 year dreading naturally. I wash my hair once or twice a week, seperate when needed and that's it! I've used the seasalt spray afew ...
I'm the same with my beard. My girlfriend met me when I had 2 years of growth there. And I grow beards fast so it was long and full. But I have been keeping it trim ever since. I never never shave it all off, but I do shave it down to about a weeks growth every month or so. It stays a full beard.
Good luck with the dreadlock soap. I love the smell of it. I buy a bar once in a while and just use it as a body wash cause of some problems I had rinsing it out. But so far I'm the only one who's had those issues. SO don't get scared away fro m it, now
Thanks everyone! I would love to let my beard dread but the old lady hates it! I was reallytryin to let it go a year at least but she hates kissin me or gettin close with this scratchy thing rubbin on her whichI cant really blame her it's not to snugglyso it's gonna go soon. I'm thinkin her bday is themiddle of july so could be a good bday present lol.And BF im gonna give that dreadlocksshampoo a try soon just tryin to go through some ofthe bronners I have which the liquid diluted would probably last me 10 years at this rate I've probably used a16thof the big bottle in a year,so im just gonna by some here soon.
If you have hard water, Which a good portion of the country has, Dr. Bronners does not rinse out well. The soaps from Dreadlockshampoo.com are made to work in both hard and soft water. Why not give them a try.
They look sweet, though
