Hey there thanks for the reply!I've been sorta planning on going the nazarene route: just washing, no separation,no manipulation. Most people say you should separate, but I'm not sure if that is mainly for style or health concerns. I know some people who rock nazarene dreads, they look great, and hey have a spiritual significance to me, they are wild and untamed.Be well!

I was doing some hiking last summer but got into a car wreck at the end of August which has pretty much put me out of commission through the beginning of this year. Now I am starting off light again, a hike here, a hike there... I made the plan to get at least 1 hike in per week and not to force myself to over-exert myself. On other weekends when I have injury flair ups I try to at least get out and walk a fire road (fake hiking so I feel better.)

Hehe, no plans for vacations in the nearest of futures since I have to focus on Uni but I will keep that in mind
So yes, California is grand! I feel very lucky because our climate is wonderful. It's been warm this spring with a nice breeze (rumors of rain tomorrow though) and there is so much beauty here. The northern bay area has some beautiful hiking spots.
