hey how ya been? ok well since i have gotten the new dread locks shampoo found herehttp://dreadlockshampoo.com/ i have been alternating less frequesntly between that and the BS and ACV wash/rinse.
but what i do for the baking soda wash is have a 1 gallon jug, like a milk jug, and mix anywheres from 1/3 of a cup of baking soda to 1 cup, normally around 2/3s, but really depends on what ive been doing ie how sweaty i get and plain instinct so if i feel i need more ill add more but thats the boudries i guess. mixed with about a gallon of water, doesnt have to be to the top of course. ill let this soak/sit for around 10 minutes. rinse thoroughly then ill rinse the jug out n fill to a little over half way and add less than an acv cap full of ACV to dilute it. this is usually where i will add my oils and they too are measured by how much i feel i need. but what i use is tea tree, lavander, and rosemary. rosemary was my saving grace for itch. but my boundaries for tea tree is 5 drops per gallon. any more it makes me itch and the scent overpowers everything else. rosemary and lavander i keep at the same ammount pretty much, but depends on rosemary and how my scalp feels, but around 20 is good.
u can start as if your dreading starting today it might not dread forawhile but if u start today it will start to dread sooner then it will if u wait to grow...most likely
