Diamond Tam Pattern :)

I made a new tam a few days ago. It's very easy becauseI crocheted 4 diamonds and sewed them together to a wrap. To create a tam you just need to add a top.
I'm sorry for my bad English but I'm German :D

You need:
3-6 clewsin a coloryou like (I took 4 colors)
crochet hook size 7 mm or size needed to get 1 diamond = approx 12.5 x 12.5 cm [5 x 5]
You start with making the diamond (4x):
{Finish each round with 1 sl st in first st on round. Replace first sc on round with 1 ch and first dc on round with 3 ch. To avoid too many thread ends, work ends into piece.}
Work 3 ch with color-1(any color) and form a ring with 1 sl st. Round 1 (color-1): 6 sc in ring. See Crochet tip! Round 2 (color-1): 2 sc in each sc = 12 sc. Round 3 (color-2): 2 dc in each sc = 24 dc. Round 4 (color-3): * 2 sc in first dc, 1 sc in each of the next 2 dc *, repeat from *-* = 32 sc. Round 5 (color-4): 1 sc in each of the first 4 sc, * 1 sc + 2 ch + 1 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each of the next 7 sc *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times, 1 sc + 2 ch + 1 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each of the last 3 sc. Round 6 (color-5): 1 sc in each of the first 3 sc, * 1 tr in next sc, 1 dc in next sc, 1 dc + 1 tr + 1 dc in ch-loop (= corner), 1 dc in next sc, 1 tr in next sc, 1 sc in each of the next 5 sc *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times, 1 tr in next sc, 1 dc in next sc, 1 dc + 1 tr + 1 dc in ch-loop, 1 dc in next sc, 1 tr in next sc, 1 sc in each of the last 2 sc, 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round. Cut the thread.
Now you repeat this until you have 4 diamonds.
Sew diamonds tog, edge to edge to form a circle. Now you have awrap.Now crochet 52 sc with tan round bottom edge of diamonds. Work 2-3 rounds with 1 sc in each sc and cut the thread.
Top:
Crochet 52 sc with tan round top of hat.
Crochet as many rounds you need (just 1 round will form a normal beanie- more rounds will form a long beanie...)
Crochet 1 round of sc, at the same time dec 4 sc evenly = 48 sc see Decreasing tip! Change to next color if you want, work 1 round of sc, at the same time dec every 6 sc = 40 sc. Change to next color if you want, work 1 round of sc, at the same time dec every 5 sc = 32 sc. Change to next color if you want, work 1 round of sc, at the same time dec every 4 sc = 24 sc. Change to next color if you want, work 1 round of sc, at the same time dec every 3 sc = 16 sc. Change to next color if you want, work 1 round of dc, at the same time work all dc tog 2 by 2. Cut the thread, wind it round the top of hat and fasten.
