bee pollen, how fast does it work?

My friend told me I should use bee pollen, since I got hey fever, for the first time ever and it is really bad! So I went and got me some granullated pollen, i took a lil bit for the first time, then today i took a teaspoon almost full. I have yet to see any changes, how long does it take for it to work?
